Help In Identifying Arabic Coin (1 Rial Iran)

Hounddog Bill Pillar of the Community Canada 1223 Posts	Posted 11/11/2022 2:54 pm I've been identifying some of the world coins I've accumulated over the last fifty years and placing some in 2x2's. So far, I've come across about 90 different countries' without too much trouble identifying them. This coin I've tried to ID several times and must have spent five hours at least but have always come up blank. To me it looks Arabic, Diameter is 18mm and weight is 1.8 gr. I don't have anything to do with the app, but find it super helpful for most modern coins. I've never really looked over the Numista site very closely but I will now. Spence, I tried to install it when you mentioned it the first time in another thread but I had no success.
