Can anyone tell me about this diagonal pattern running across this coin? I looks like it was on the panchet before it pressed in the die? Significant? Valuable?

Looks like a plating issue and is common.

As John1 says, these are common. The same pattern of Roller Lines can even be found on highly polished proof coins when they catch the light.

Are they lines on the planchet before platting? Why are the lines not obliterated during the strike?
