I just got a 2005 kiwi silver Dollar, it is a great looking coin and I know they made them in 2004.did they make them before 2004 as well. My questian is does any on know if this is a on going set, will they be making a 2006. I hope so but would like to know. here is the picture of the new coin  Has a picture of the queen on the front we all know what that looks like. Edited by djluster

I found the answer, they started the the New Zealand kiwi silver Dollars in 2004 and they are plannig on doing 6 different ones. these coin have very low mintage so they could become very hard to get coins. there is only 10,000 of the UNC on minted and 5000 proof. I think I am going to do the set they are very nice looking coins here is the large view of it and the card   bought mine from http://www.downies.comor also has them http://stamps.nzpost.co.nz/Cultures/en-NZ/Coins/if anyone was interested Edited by djluster

I like the silver dollar.I know it's a long shot,since all of people on this side of the world are from USA,but any idea from I can buy one for Canada,without geting rapped on shipping ?

Thank You lim, But they don't tell me how much is the shipping before I order  In the meantime I've checked the other link djluster posted.It looks like is $ 10 to ship the creature.I'll get the mother and chick on silver,maybe the set too.You guys are so lucky there with such strange and funny animals |

I went to the USA pages, Since the US location is out of Califorina I wouldn'think it would cost much more then 6.00 for you. Go luck I think you would really like it. I also went back on friday at bought the 2004 Kiwi so I could try and do the whole set.

djluster I've got the 2004 and 2005 from Downies I'll try the same like you I guess...the whole set They couldn't tell me how much shipping is,but i'll see when i'll get invoiced.Thank You for the info and for posting the pictures. |

djluster Thanks to your post I am the proud owner of the two Kiwi coins ( like yours).I like them very much,i find them beautiful Downies USA charged me the same shipping rate as for the US customers,and they put down "metal samples" on the customs declaration , and I've got the coins without having to pay extra taxes. I will send them an email to thank them.I am a very happy camper right about now. |
