One Wheat penny is usually found in 4 or 5 rolls. An ender usually occurs once in 200 or 250 rolls. An ender with the tail side up usually occurs every 400 to 500 rolls. |

Nothing special compared to two other surprises in this box - 1958 D. Bank $25 box from the bank. This box has had couple other amazing surprises. A 1943 D Steel Cent and my 2nd 1984 D LMC and maybe a newly discovered DDR. http://goccf.com/t/435215 "We are all flawed, some MD and some PMD." NYI |

ive been saving wheat enders for a few years now.im up to almost 200 rolls now.saving them for the grandkids to open

As 'Wheat Pennies' have become noticibly harder to find over the past several years, it's not surprising to find only one ' Wheat penny' per couple of hundered pennies searched. Not certain over the value of rolls based-on with 'Wheat Pennies' discovered on the ends of rolls. |
