Hi everyone,
A colleague of mine is stumped trying to identify this coin, which I believe is a Republican Roman Denarius. However, I am really not sure as to the date.
In addition to the laureate head right (maybe of Apollo?) on the obverse, the reverse appears to have two horsemen flanked by their horses.
Beneath the figures on the reverse is the lettering "MEMMI." However, there may be some lettering off the flan that would appear before the first "M."
Any help with the identification of this coin would be appreciated!
