1953-Canadian-Nickel

Hello Everyone, This is my first post and I am wondering if anyone can help me with some
information on the 53 Canadian nickel I have. I understand if it is of the no shoulder fold variety with respect
to the queens bust it is worth a few dollars. I am having trouble figuring out whether the nickel I have is an NSF nickel. I've
attached an image. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks very much.

Please also post a close-up of the 'DEI', the other side of the coin, and orient your photos the right way up

We need better pics of both sides of the coin to determine what you have.

You have been misinformed, the normal no shoulder fold version is the least valuable of the '53s.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

to the CCF

We cannot tell anything from such a small photo.
As mentioned, a clear cropped large photo
of BOTH sides along with a closeup of the DEI
is required before anyone can help you.

Hi -

Definitely would like to see more pics, close-ups help.

Meanwhile, here's another page with some pics and a little info on the varieties:

But start with coinsandcanada.com like @John1 recommended

Northend, I know I'm replying late and I hope you've already found the information, but I need to remind you that BOTH the "No Shoulder fold" AND the "With Shoulder fold" variants are valuable (+$200), BUT it all depends on the leaf positions on the coins. There are FOUR varieties; the NSF/far leaf and WSF/near leaf are the 'cheap' varieties, and the NSF/near leaf and WSF/far leaf types the valuable ones.
