Commems Collection Classic: 1922 Grant Memorial - Cousin #2

More moons ago than I can count, I posted about a "cousin" to the 1922 Grant Memorial (Birth Centenary) half dollar - a medal that featured a similar theme to the Grant commemorative coins that was sold by the same sponsor. (You can check it out here: 1922 Grant Memorial - Cousin.

In the post, I stated "the medal was available with or without an attached ring." I illustarted the medal with the attanched ring (for suspension), but did not post images of the non-ring medal as I didn't have one at the time. A few months later, I added one of the non-ring pieces but going back to add it to my original post slipped my mind.

I came across it recently as I was doing a bit of reorganization and immediately remembered that I never posted it. So....

1922 Grant Commemorative Medal


The "medalette" could be purchased from the Grant Memorial Centenary Association for $0.25 in either version. The medal is 1-3/16" in diameter.
