Hello all,

A quick update on this... Since posting I have become friendlier with several coin/metal/currency changers in Rome.

They have confirmed that all pre 64 non Morgans or Peace dollars (and some well worn morgans and Peace dollars) do, in fact get sent to refineries here frequently.

Large 19th century, heavily circulated coins also get melted.

I doubt this is putting a great dent in the population but it's decreasing supply...albeit slightly.

Best,

R.
