I just wanted 10 rolls of quarters. They sold me the quarters but limit 2 rolls going forward. The only reason I opened that account was to access coins. So now I need a new bank. Looking for suggestions for a no hassle bank or credit union.

Is it a bank issue overall, or limited to a branch?

Good question. I will have to locate other area branches. Or use them as my dump bank.

American CRH'ers are lucky.

I do not know of any Australian retail bank that is prepared to serve the needs of CRH'ers.

I did swop my source bank and my dump bank. Same teller and no problem. My new source bank is my primary bank anyway. The only reason I used it as my dump bank was one of the branches had a free coin counter. They removed it anyway.

This makes me thankful for the bank I use; I have been going there for years, and getting 1-2 cent boxes a week, plus some extra nickel boxes sometimes also. I even got a $50 cent bag one time. I feel bad for all of you that have banks that won't give you coins or limits coins. Maybe someday in the future I can send some coins your way. You all take care, and have a Merry Christmas.
