Hello, wondering if I could get an ID on this guy? I can't find anything about it anywhere— not in Krause, Numista, or Google. Please help!

From the inscriptions, it seems to be a student award medal of some sort.

I don't know exactly what sort of medal it is, but one was offered at a Mexican auction in August this year (in a lot of two medals, prices in Mexican pesos):

The link to the auction (go to TERCERA SECCIÓN for the part where the lot is): https://www.elmundodelamoneda.com/s...as/index.htm

At one time it was very common to present medals to students who did well in school. These ranged from crude, locally-made pieces to quite artistic mint products. I don't think it is a subject which has been well catalogued.
