The colors are slightly off but they are quite different...

Can you see what makes them different?

The 25 ruble is struck on a 10 ruble planchet isn't it? Wow! I knew there were reeding mix-ups between 10 and 25 ruble coins but I didn't know about planchet mix-ups.
It's a pretty scarce coin even as a normal 25 ruble, AFAIK, so doubly unexpected.

The Registan coin looks off-planchet too, but I can't figure out which kind of planchet could be so large. No comment about the Novgorod 5 rubles, can't see anything blatantly off with it.

That's correct - the bimetal coin is supposedly to be struck on a nickel copper planchet instead of bimetal which is used for 10 rubles. It doesn't help that the planchets are very similar in size...

This is an example with the reeding error

The 5 ruble coins are supposedly struck in lead. They are quite heavy and weigh closer to 30 grams instead of 20 grams. This is the first time I have seen them struck in lead. Don't recall seeing any examples struck in lead

The last one that I have is one that I have led in my collection for almost 2 decades

This is struck in two separate planchets. Unapproved pattern? This is an example of a pattern

Lead is a typical material for die trial strikes, because it can be used before hardening the dies. A double-sided lead trial strike would be pretty unusual, though.
