Often called "belly dancer coins" in the West, though that's just one possible use for them. The design is very loosely based on coins struck in Algeria while under Ottoman rule. The Arabic is, however, somewhat garbled and is no longer properly readable. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
