Love the die cracks.
Some evidence obverse and reverse die clash is noticeable (e.g. just to the right of and below the left elbow, above the right hand as a line, and diagonally through the eagle's shield.
MS63.
This is a very, very well struck coin, the detail in the hair, left hand and foot are all very crisp, as are the feathers and shield lines on the reverse.
There are some field disturbances below the tail feathers and in the field right of the right wing. They do not cross over the devices - perhaps die polishing artifacts to remove clash, cabinet friction made more noticeable by the toning, or a light wipe at some point. I think it would grade straight.

has proof qualities. I was going with MS63 but at that price you either stole it or its AU58 and you got a great price

I very briefly thought about that but there are only 6? known extant proofs of this date out of a reported 20 minted, none with die cracks that I know of.

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the coin.  Thought it was unusual that the obverse presents better than the reverse. Usually it's the other way around.

Uncirculated details! I am not seeing proof here as stars 10-14 are flat, love all the die cracks!

Received the coin and it did not have the luster in the images and returned it. This being a fairly common coin I was only interested due to its apparent remaining mint luster.
