A clip would be vertical. Not a scooping issue:

Note the straight through cut?

Event the most minor clip would be seen, but the metal would not form on the rim area:

I don't think that this is a clip, that it tapered on the edge, the blanking machine cannot do that - it cuts straight down.

I'm not seeing a Blakesly Effect opposite the clip.

How about an image of the rev?
