Suggest removing the coins from the 2x2s and re-photographing them. We need to see full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse--will help us provide a better assessment. Thanks.

There were no proofs minted in 1967 - and this one looks like a business strike, as does your 1968-S (and it has a terrible fingerprint on it too.)

 Thanks for sharing those two sweet finds in circulation. Only my opinion, they appear to be regular business strikes that saw very little of their intended usage. I hope they inspire you to start a collection by adding them to an album such as Whitman or Dansco.
