Has anyone sold bullion to SD Bullion? I was just wondering how the experience was and any details would be helpful. Thanks.

As with most volume sellers, I don't think that they would give you much of a premium over melt (if any).

I haven't sold any of my bullion. But SD Bullion has a "sell to us" page showing their offer prices which varies frequently with changing spot prices. Other dealers have sell to us prices like JM Bullion, Bullion Exchanges. I assume you also considered selling to a local coin store if there is one.

I was looking at the SD Bullion page you are describing. But it really doesn't go into detail about specifics like how you'll be paid or if there are tax forms involved, etc. My interpretation is that nothing is reported by them if you are selling government minted bullion to them. I could me mistaken though.

No coin shops nearby...just pawn shops and jewelers.
