I have read about that type of doubling on the collumn, in one of Wexlers books. But only on copper coins. People here may say that it is a plateing bubble, because this is a zinc coin. I am only a novice.

Left and Right columns of the statue is not doubling it is part of the design. Near the left leg of the President Statue I do not thing it is plating issue, seem more probably of the Die damage, I thing is say Cud. @ 279773: What you read on Wexler is complete other thing, read again. Second is not necessary to wrote what you think the users here will say, indifferent of your opinions. Merry Christmas !

The Die Gauche on this coin is lower then others (Wexler) and the leg due to the Die we can not see. For this 038 the marks must be present. By the photos I can not see on the Observe. If it is there could be an very late stage.

Wexler definitely listed several DDRs on the 7th column.

The shape of the extra column differs slightly from WDDR-038 to my eyes. I think BUCoin's coin is likely from an unlisted die.

The doubling die on those is due to the Die jump production procedures. I think many confound the old ways with hubs and master die. Those jumps of productions are more like Master Hub before and not like this. I hope the Cents researchers, will do the close study on this.

Quote: Wexler definitely listed several DDRs on the 7th column. A collector (Bill) gave his collection of these to John to list. That is why he has so many of these listed. That is a huge project. I'm Glad was able to list all of his collection for all to be used.
