I use to gift him spare coins. Going through his estate there is a very nice hoard of silver dollars including a 1948 handpicked by the late Maurice Lafortune mint employee in 1948(!). Sid Belzberg Valued Member Canada 50 Posts	Posted 12/26/2022 01:58 am Yes, there are a few 1948 Silver dollars in specimen, including one in 65. These coins were graded decades ago, and quite a few of the coins will be resubmitted. The estate is shared between my wife and brother-in-law so I am not sure yet what her brother wants to do with the coins, ie divide it among themselves (unlikely)or sell them in a mutually agreeable way.
