XF45, I like the toning
The gouge will likely details it
It's too prominent
Still a nice looking coin, I'd keep it raw and enjoy it

XF-45 details scratched. Not a very appealing XF, but still has nice detail. The 1830's halves don't seem to have the sharpness of the earlier dates, likely due to design depth, strike strength, die hardness, and length of time the die was used.
