Look at all marks in the fields--obviously was bagged with other coins at some point. It wouldn't take much to dent a .999 gold coin. I'll have to dig through my coins to find something suitable. algol Valued Member United States 124 Posts	Posted 03/09/2009 10:46 pm I got this CRH awhile back. I wasn't even sure it was a penny at first. I think its severe chemical damage? Under 10x I can just barely see a 9 and possibly the remains of a 2. 1992 would be my guess if I had to take one.
