Found this coin on ebay but it looks as thou it has been buffed.does anyone else have coins that are altered and are on ebay selling $$$$.

Also I'm not trying too downgrade this item just find it silly that some collectors alter there coins too look better for better returns on $$$$

Although there are thousands of altered coins for sale on ebay That coin is not one of them.
What you see as buffing is just a common pattern of wear found on this GeoV portrait.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

That's a 1934/5 Melbourne/Victoria florin, I assume? If I saw an "odd-looking" example of this coin, I'd assume the reason was because it was counterfeit, not because it was "buffed".

Agreed Sap, very strange wear on a coin that shouldn't see much wear.

Its a Kiwi or Fiji .500 silver coin with normal wear.
Its just been dipped.
Its got that "cleaned" look.
