Hope this is where I am supposed to post this. I have this coin and not sure of the year and most sites only have South Korea and North Korea listed and can't find info anywhere.

Korea 1959 50 Hwan, the currency before the won they have today

Note that this is from South Korea. Korea was divided into North and South in 1948.

Just a little more information on this coin. It's made of German Silver and was minted by the Philadelphia mint in the USA.

I don't believe so. I have one and it's definitely not silver. It looks as described in Krause, Nickel-Brass

Well, German silver isn't silver from Germany! then I guess a lot of my coins would have a bullion value

It's basically another Cu-Ni allow

Sorry to mislead you. German Silver is not silver but rather the alloy as listed in Krause.
