How many wheat cents would be in a half pound lot? I am just trying to get a number of how many wheaties I would be getting. I know somebody here would have a good idea. Thanks for everybody's help.

approx 75 (estimated 150 copper cents per pound).

That could vary massively pending the amount of wear. I've seen coins that have lost about 25% or more of their material.

If you're looking at Littleton's and Collectible America's and/or Home Shopping Networks, etc. etc. etc magazine/internet offers of "half pound bags of Wheats"... I'd say it's not worth the price you'd be paying plus shipping and handling.
And these would be "common dates" too.....and more expensive than necessary.
Don't pay any more than .05 cents apiece.....in fact .03 to .04 cents apiece for "common dates" would be more appropriate. I'd go with .05 if there was a good mix of "early dates" in there......
