Hi all! I recently got in this 1824 Bust half and was trying to peg the Overton variety but am stuck. I use the bust half addicts website (sorry it won't let me copy a link for some reason, probably user error)
The T I alignment (T centered over I) Narrows it down to 102, 106,111, 114, or 115. The 7th star pointing at the cap (and not the Headband) eliminates 102,111 and 115. 114 can be eliminated because the 2 and 4 do not touch. So that leaves 106....but the description I find says "line one of stripe 4 extends well below the shield. My coin does not have that as far as I can see. It DOES however have line 3 of stripe 3 extending well below the shield as in my close up. Any ideas?

The I is not centered under T. The right sides are in line (I know, it is hard to tell). Once I eliminated everything in the previous category, I came to the conclusion it is O-117 R1. Reverse on the site also has stripe 3 of shield extend down. This can also be attributed by the tiny spikes protruding from the side of the left wing.

I recognize this coin, it was posted on ebay not too long ago! I concur, it is the 117. I find the year 1824 is the hardest to attribute on maibockaddict. Some of the T-I alignments aren't in order.
Suffering from bust half fever.
