Thoughts on this? It's very tough to tell even after comparing to the copper coin varieties listed. Is there possibly doubling as well as MD too?

Large Date. (Note the bottom of the '7' is below the '0'?) The '9' is pointing to the base of the '9':

Contact mark mark on the '7'. This alteration will be seen on just one coin. If it were a die issue, there could be up to one million of examples from that die pair. So it was from a normal die, the coin was hit/altered in circulation. But you might like to study that DDO's that year on the sites. There were a different type of doubled dies that year on that area.

Note the images with the areas on the '7' or '0' of both '70'.
