1970 S 1 Cent, Lrg/Sml Date Or Otherwise Double?

The '9' is pointing to the base of the '9': Contact mark mark on the '7'. This alteration will be seen on just one coin. If it were a die issue, there could be up to one million of examples from that die pair. So it was from a normal die, the coin was hit/altered in circulation. But you might like to study that DDO's that year on the sites.
