All,

Just sort I would share with all of what coins from Namibia look like. They have a 5 cent, 10 cent, 50 cent, 1 dollar, and 5 dollar coin. The Namibian dollar is equal South African Rand. You can use the Rand in Namibia as well.

Family sent me up several of each so I just took one of each to scan for all you.

I have looked that set on internet auctions but not acquired yet. I like African coinsets but they are so hard to get (or expensive) here in the north. I visited in Kenya last holiday and saw the beautiness of African nature (and Kenyan coins of course).

I have been to Namibia twice and South Africa once.

African nature is totally different than anything I have seen before.

Still sorting thru the coins but none of them seem to be in uncirculated condition. I might be allowed to offer some up for trade.

I did purchase when I was down there an uncirculated set of the 1st year of issue of the coins once they became Namibia and it was not cheap compared to the face value of the coins.

What puzzles me about countries like Namibia, is they produce commerative coins but I can never find where to buy them.
