2006 D Obverse Flattening. Mint ? Post Mint ?

The obverse has a flattening that starts in the LIBERTY B and goes off of the edge while also continuing upwards and around appearing to affect the top of the President's head and stopping. Nowhere along the edge or on the reverse is there any signs of damage. Is it possible for after mint damage like this to affect only the obverse image ? And if you believe this is mint caused, what is it called ? Thank you again. Report this Post to the Staff

I said I quit because I was having a hard time getting my images loaded onto the site. Had absolutely nothing to do with you or anyone else out there.
