I went through my secret 1 cent stash lately examining the rolls close and checked the end coins. Found a few interesting errors [ not rolling machine ones]. Any way I came across this 2008 magnetic roll with a nice clipped coin in it. I still haven't decided if I'm going to crack it yet or have some fun one day and put it in an auction and let the byer have the fun. I checked ebay and coinscanada and clipped 1 cent coins just dont exist in the 2000s. Any thoughts, like to get a few comments on this one. For sure a high MS one.

Here's a 2010 roll with a bent penny in it. Suspect after mint struck damage of some sort. Going to keep it as an error roll.

You are right , modern clipped cents are hard to come by. If it was my roll I would leave it intact but I would also want to see the coin out of the roll. Nice find!!

This is a 2012 non magnetic roll with the hair missing. When looking at the coin close it looks like that area of the coin is concaved not taking the die strike. To bad its a roll end coin but a good conversation piece.

A 2012 clipped 1-cent sold for more than $125 a couple years ago, I suspect it being the last year of the cent had something to do with it.
You are correct that they are scarce, I don't have any from the 2000s, and I have been actively hunting for quite some time.
Nice catch!

Had a few cases of 2010 1 cent and this was the worst year with black dots on the coins. One case every coin on the ends had them. I found this grease covered coin and thought I would share this with you. Kinda interesting the flow and art that it creates. I call this one the MS67 Grease!! Enjoy.
