Interesting. I always like those stories or advertisments when they show people possing for that. There was one near the biginning where the guy had his hand in his pocket. Wonder what he was pocketing?
48 slides. Pretty decent story with them.

"Golden Dollar coins require the greatest force, and pennies require the least force."

Notice what the U. S. Mint calls "cents" ...

Thanks for the URL. I toured the Denver mint in the mid '80's and don't remember a thing, so this was an excellent refresher.
Rest in Peace

I've been through the Denver mint three times.

First time, I was very young. Probably about 1954. The mint was closed for some reason, but visitors were shown a million dollars in gold bars. Obviously the pile of bars was much bigger than it would be today.

I must admit the second and third tours were disappointing to me. The tour guides were fine, but the "tour" consisted mainly of listening to him, and looking down through windows at the top of minting machines.

Prior to the visits, I had visions of being at eye-level with the minting machines, and maybe even dipping my hands through all those shiny coins.

Turned out to be disappointing for me, however that's my view, and perhaps other folks really enjoyed the experience.
