I just began using airtites ,switching some of my "better" LMC's from 2 x 2 flips. I store the 2 x 2's in pages but was wondering what those of you who use airtites do for storage. Will they fit in pages like the 2 x 2's?

Some folks here (BadThad and his incredible cent collection comes to mind) put the airtite inside of a 2x2, and then put it in a notebook.

I'm just as curious as you. Right now all my airtites are stacked on top of one another. It resembles the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

I use Thad's system for everything now. You can fit a cent airtite easily in a halve 2x2 then slide it in the pages. Perfect system, I love it.

The main problem is not what to do or how to do it with them as much as how to support them from leaning. I suggest you start by using a strong platic glue to glue them all together. Then tie to a rigid pole made of PVC. This should stop the leaning.

Now that was almost a real answer by accident. Such a container would have to be large enough to get inside so you could check for leaks.

I have about 10 or so Buffalo nickels in them and they are in a stapled shut dollar size windowed 2x2 for safekeeping and storage. Looking through two levels of plastic and three if it were in a 2x2 page slot does take away from the glamour but a nice picture while it is outside on file will do for now. I will reopen later when I get better at picture taking. PS: I think these are two different coins pictured.

I received a gift recently. It consists of square pieces of plastic, with holes for various sizes of airtite holders. Once you fit the airtight into the space, there is a blue box with slots which accomodate about 20 airtites.
I would be more descriptive, however my storage boxes are currently, well, stored away.
Maybe Whitman makes them since they are blue in color.

Not exactly sure if this is what Gary's talking about, but AirTites do have cardboard display cards you can get that the capsule fits into, and then there is a black plastic box with slots to put the cards in. You can see it here: http://www.air-tites.com/coin_displ...es.htm#ATboxMost supply places have them, I just picked that web site more or less at random. I use these for my most expensive coins. It's working fine so far. Jan
