Looks like contact. Could be a high bounce Machine Doubling issue, or a con contact from another coin that altered the devices. You are looking at the right area to spot a doubled die, but what is missing is spread on the devices. The devices are normal sized On the DDO for that year you would see en enlarging of the devices: http://www.varietyvista.com/12%20Ke...1SDDO006.htm Note on this listing, the devices are affected on the tops of the devices, but also there is a spread between the two of the doubling processes cause a spread of the devices. Either Taller/wider on the devices. That is spread and will be seen on a doubled die. Your coin is not showing that.
I took a photo of my microscope screen. The coin is so shiny I totally had a glare problem. I will work on better pics. I am still learning, just don't want to spend a ton on appraisals unless I know it's valuable. Thank you all very much.
