I have a Colombian 5 centavos with what looks like an overdate on the 9. I can't find any reference to a 1960 overdate and also wonder what it could be. A 6? Maybe not even an overdate. Am hoping some more experienced CC members can shed some light.
I forget if my 1967 is the same type (maybe it was still solid bronze in 1960? I'm too lazy to look).
ANyhow, the punch used for the 6 and the 9 might have been the same from the looks of it. So maybe the engraver got sloppy, first made it inverted, then corrected?
tdziemia & eNumis - Thanks, that confirms my suspicions. Having once sent a golf ball flying over the green because I grabbed a 6 iron instead of a 9 from my bag can understand that mistake.
