1962 Half Dollar Error ? - Coin Community Forum

I was checking the yesterday and found something unusual about it. The 2 in 1962 appears to have a strange minting error - have you ever seen one like this please - I have enclosed some photos. panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18670 Posts	Posted 01/21/2023 09:57 am if you look at the top of the T in TRUST it appears to have a dent in it. my guess is something hit the coin and affected the 2 as well as the top of the T. dont think its a minting error. best case coinfrog's comment is valid Report this Post to the Staff
