The icon at the top of every post there is one labeled "Get a Link to This Reply"
Sometimes it comes up like this:
http://goccf.com/t/301479&whichpage=253#3775972 and sometimes it comes up like :
/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=301479#3777009
I want the first one to show up so I can re-post to redirect to another topic.
(The second one up above don't do anything.) Why is this?
A few days ago I tried to link to another topic and it would not link to it...

Honestly I have never seen the second style come up. Checking though.

I just looked at all the code and can't see how it could happen. (Doesn't mean it can't though, I've certainly overlooked things before.)

Ugh, going to be tricky. Gotta figure out what the page number would be for the specific reply if it wasn't on topic-last-page.asp. May take a while.

Yes, but now the functionality only takes you to the first page, not the actual reply. That is gonna take some time and maybe help.

I used the "Get a Link to this Reply" icon on one of my posts
Link "A" is the result of copying the text that appears
above the "Copy to Clipboard" button.
Link "B" is the result of clicking the "Copy to Clipboard" button.

http://goccf.com/t/60465#3926384 Link A takes you to my post of an Ike. Link B takes you to the first page of the thread. "Copy to Clipboard" omitted the '&whichpage=359'

I get Link A no matter which method I use.

I cannot reproduce that problem. The link copied always matches the link presented above it.
