The Irish coin fair is in a couple of weeks time at the RDS in Dublin. It's worth going.

.750 fine silver.
Three types:
1. Obv legend SAORSTAT EIREANN (Irish Free state) 1928-37
2. Obv legend eIRe (Ireland) 1939-43
The rare date for these is 1943, approximately 500 examples known.
3. Later dates 1951-67 struck in copper nickel, with 2nd type legend.
