I am so new I have little idea if this is what it looks like. My laymans thoughts are the difference in colors on the "clip itself" may be a factor. The fact another coin of the same year (I tried earlier with a 1973, but could not find for photo, same result)

I do feel its worth the cost of sending it in. However I noticed the Canadian appraiser ICCS does not do flaws so if there is a spot to send it please let me know, but I can google too, this is just new news today, lol

I hope the pics are good, I have a scope on the way and can upload better pics if needed.

Looks real but not worth sending in.

Your photos aren't so bad IMO. I have a scope on the way too.

I wouldn't bother sending it for grading either. You could ask a local dealer what they think.

I adore Canadian coins. I have quite the collection, although they are not technically spendable in the States. One slipped into my purchase a while back and the clerk said "oh no, we can't take THAT! She acted like the coin would hurt her if she took it. Very comical!

Welcome aboard!

Circulated clips like that sell between $1 to $4 at coin shows. Definitely not worth the grading fees.
