Yes, and it was not known as Mumbai in Queen Victoria's British India. The information on the mint marks you quoted is for the Republic of India (post 1950) coins, a wee bit after Queen Victoria I'm afraid. David Graham Pillar of the Community Australia 1610 Posts	Posted 01/30/2023 01:52 am @Ozleigh - my apologies, I was referring to the diamond although I just discovered that later coins (1900s) had a diamond as well. I stand corrected. Unfortunately, I can find no mention of a mint mark (circle or diamond) for the 1876 specimen. Report this Post to the Staff
