smallcent - nothing better than a reference picture of what moisture does to coins. This is a 2011 zinc self destructing. Also want to point out a few things here too about collections storage. So everyone's scenario will be different. For me I live in the country and burn a wood stove. My air is clean and dry in my house. Now if you live in a humid location and what about lots of factories in the area maybe having toxins in the air [ acid rain] humidity would be a killer on coins.
