Has there been any further news come out on the "dateless" 2008 20p new design mule? Estimated mintage, etc?

Thanks
Wayne

Hadn't heard of it. I take it it has the old obverse on the new reverse?

Yes, old obverse which did not have the date coupled with the new reverse (date was moved from reverse to obverse with the new design 20p).

I finally secured one off ebay auction after trying to win one for weeks. They were going for a hefty penny too, like 50 pounds plus, not bad profit for 20p from circulation.

You mean the one that goes for 50 GBP on the Bay? hehe...
Unfortunately, after searching my vast pockets, i.e. about 10 or 20 of these, I never managed to find one! If only we Brits were allowed to get swag bags full of them in exchange for their equivalent value...sigh

May I also add, that there are supposed to be some other varieties of errors and if anyone has information on them, please post it now!
