An easy way to know value is to do ebay sold listings searches for a 1922 S Peace dollar. It's a common year and due to all the black spots not a lot of numismatic value IMO, looks like it has some circulation wear. Worn circulated damaged Morgan and Peace $ are sometimes called cull. I was recently at a coin auction and culls were going for about $27 each that day anyway, worth more than silver melt value because they are popular.
