Coinfrog: Thank You! I didn't see too many with this label having true Rainbow toning; but I was off pretty much numbering it.

I didn't check any of the markers but may have have narrowed it down for you by mm placement. Check out the following and I'll try to make time later, if you have not found it yet. 26,48,69,91 and 109. Beautiful lady, by the way!  -makecents-

makescents: Thank You! I checked all the MMs tilted right I could find, and no dice. I'm guessing that it's a fairly late die state due to its creamy luster, and crack rinning the length of the bottom part of the cap (not the "tear"); I would think that the messy break behind LIBERTY would be enough, but apparently it isn't

Your mm is not tilted right, it is centered and upright. If you are going by the way it is in the slab, that would be incorrect. Did you check the VAM's I gave you? Here is your mm oriented correctly.  -makecents-

Yes-it can't be the VAM 26 for an obvious reason, the only one that's close is VAM 69, but I'm not concinved of that. The B is weak at the top as well. Edited by Oldgrouchyguy

The B is weak at the top as well. grouchy, I took some time after work, this evening and could not come up with much, given the pics I had to work with. Check out VAM-84, it was the only thing I could make out that might be a match, the obverse die crack markers at the hat's edge and the reverse attributes. See what you think. If that is the correct die, it may be a different stage. Possibly, before it happened or after it was polished away. I may not even be part of the die, it might be a struck through. I would check all to the other attributes and markers, on the obverse and reverse.

Not getting it. Are you reading what I'm telling you? It could be so many things. Have you even taken time to see if the obverse and reverse are a match for the VAM I have given you? Not sure what you are looking for. -makecents-

Yes... the die breaks on the cap are promising, for one-it's a pretty late strike. I collect struck-through coins; to me this isn't one of them (the foreign matter would have to be something very small on top off the obverse die and under the planchet, and would probably get squished into ERTY). Anyway, it's something else to look for, if there is something to look for...

makescents: Thank You for your time & trouble. It appears to be a late VAM-84, with more doubling. We used to set-up near Pete Bishell(?) at the Bay State Coin Show...
