Here is a fun one, I found this what I believe to be a strikethrough with the "L" missing from Liberty. What I don't see is the normal damage associated with a grease strikethrough, This one is very smooth. If one looks close, I believe you can make out the very tip of the L. Many of you may have seen a lot of these. I have never seen one so smooth when letters are missing.

I would think it is a Greaser.

I think its a Greaser as well, just a much nicer one than I have see before. Usually greasers are very ugly where it accrues on the coin.

Note how the remain devices are showing wider devices with no taper at the tops. So a pretty good glop of grease was on the die and now has moved down into the deeper part of the die. (Starts on the fields and then moved into the devices void on the die, preventing the strike on the filled areas.

CoopHome: How does the grease get into the die devices? first on the fields and then moved into the devices and design areas. When totally blocked nothing shows. part blockage, leave the devices wider/short according to the amount of grease that fills the voids in the die.
