This does not look like a typical missing clad coin. I tried to find another coin like it and couldn't find one that looks this way. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help!

If it were missing the clad, it would be a copper colour with a weaker strike.

Thanks for the quick replies! That is what I assumed but what would cause this type of etching some type of acid?

Looks like glue was drizzled on the surface

Please crop your images properly (to the edges of the coin) and resize to at least 600x600 so we can see your coins better.
