Gday all, Just wondering if anyone could advise me if this is a 1916 or 1917 standing liberty. There's no date, but also no stars underneath the eagle. Any help wound be great

looks like a 1917 to me. 1916 doesn't have the bar over the head between the beads. here is 1916  here is 1917

Denver mint mark means 1917. 1916 was Philadelphia only.

As CH27 shared, you seem to have a 1917-D LSQ. No 1916 SLQs were minted in Denver.
