Hello all. Hope everyone is having a great Friday night. Still setting up new microscope so sorry if phone pics aren't that great.

The coin in question is. 2021 crossing the Delaware quarter. On the obverse, there is some weird looking damage. I'm curious as to what it is. It doesn't look like regular damage. It seems to flow almost. Also looks like wrinkles where it isn't "flowing". Start between E/R of liberty and trickles down to just past the ear. It spiders out a bit from side to side as well. I don't necessarily thinks it's crazy valuable( that would be awesome if it was) but more curious as to what it is. I can't find anything on the World Wide Web to educate myself on this but you all seem to always come through. Thank you and appreciate any help.

I suggest a 100% pure acetone soak first to see what happens.

Here is the whole coin, obverse and reverse. The damaged areas are pretty flat The area between the E/R is incused just a bit. I had to google incuse, so I apologize if I didn't use it correctly. Lol.

Also what does an acetone bath do? Or was that a joke and I totally missed it? I'm sure you have figured it out already but I'm fairly new to numismatics. On a side note, I picked up an awesome reverse proof silver set today. So cool. I think I stared at it with a huge cheeser for the first 30 minutes after I purchased it.
Anyway let me know if more pics are needed. I will have my microscope up and running this afternoonish.
