Hey Everyone,
I picked up this coin recently and after scoping it I have found a few interesting areas of the coin

It appears to have a very minor DDR based on the slightly egg shaped dot and extra thickness on the bottom of the E and L in E Pluribus.

It also appears to have concentric lathe lines on the reverse. I have a few concentric lathe lines coins like the 1996 D but none are on wheat cents.

I couldn't match it up with anything on Variety Vista or CopperCoins.com so I thought I'd post it here and see what the community thinks.

Thanks!

What DDR attribution number,I am not seeing it. Nice lathe lines though.

There is currently no attribution for the DDR. I might send some images to Chuck and Eric at Coppercoins to see if they think there's enough extra thickness to even warrant attribution. At least the lathe lines would provide extremely easy to see die markers. :-)

I'm saying no to a DDR as well. The dot doesn't look egg shaped to me.

If there is a spread here, it's extremely minor and would probably be hard to get listed. As for the "lathe lines", I think they are concentric die scratches, I've been fooled by them many times.

Might be a ding but has a shot at being a doubled ear. I think there are two of them known from that year.
