JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21611 Posts	Posted 02/06/2023 4:58 pm Environmental damage wouldn't necessarily harm the coin, depending on what it was exposed to. If the plating on your cent was missing, it would have a dull grey colour showing the exposed zinc. On yours you can see traces of copper. Report this Post to the Staff
Cujohn Pillar of the Community United States 7174 Posts	Posted 02/06/2023 5:02 pm to the CCF I think you are mixing your terms. Enviornmental damage is on the coin, not the die. The die is the tool at the mint that makes the coin. This coin is slowly disintegrating, next will come zinc rot. Report this Post to the Staff
