Between heavy die wear and that year all the cents were on the rim area, this is not a doubled die.

Just circulation flattening is visible on your coin.

When comparing it to other 1968 d coins doubling or thickening visible on the date (6,8) , LIBERTY (L,B,E,R), AND ON IN GOD WE TRUST (N,G,T,W,D)
