Hoping to get some help with this, error or damage? It looks like an error, but I've never seen an error coin other than in pics. Not sure how to tell the difference. Thank you for any help or info you can give me!

FYI, that's Washington on the quarter, not Roosevelt. This quarter has Ridge Ring, not an error.

that is what we call 'The Ring of Death' it is caused by a coin rolling machine. This coin was an ender in a bank coin roll.

Not a Ridge Ring, but damage from a vending or rolling machine.

not Ridge Ring but rather vending machine or Coin Wrapping Machine post mint damage. In my haste I misspoke, sorry.
