I just noticed this over at Heritage, and while the auction is long past--I'm still baffled as to why collectors would run this up to nearly $24,000.
After all, this is the Snow-2, and not the very rare, confirmed overdate Snow-1. Someone easily paid 10X the market value at the time.
So, perhaps the auction description offers some clues?
Do you suppose the buyers were confused--and why? It sure pays to read carefully.
